Under the leadership of Minas Gerais businesswoman Lorena Viana Batista, LOXUS has been in the jewelry market since 2011. Passionate about jewelry from an early age, the designer was influenced by her father, who created small pieces as a hobby, unleashing his creativity. Detail-oriented and intuitive, she honed her skills in gemology and jewelry design at UEMG (State University of Minas Gerais), becoming one of the winners of the national competition sponsored by AngloGold Ashanti in 2014, whose theme was Brazilianness. To win the prize, the designer created the pair of earrings "Águas de Março" (Waters of March), a reference to the song by composer Tom Jobim.
